Construction cleaning

Scope: Site cabin and welfare cleaning, phased builders cleans with internal window cleaning, sparkle cleans throughout, aftercare
Duration: 2023 to 2026
The project: a 12-storey, 551-bed student building in Glasgow city centre, handed over to iQ in June 2025.
What we did: the full cleaning package. That meant site cabin and welfare cleaning from the early stages, then phased builders cleans with internal window cleaning as floors were completed and quick room turnarounds for the client's snagging visits. We finished with a sparkle clean of the whole building (bedrooms, corridors, stairwells and ground floor) and removed paint marks from floors and door furniture before handover.
​Since: GRAHAM has kept us on for aftercare cleaning.

St Vincent Studios, St Vincent Street, Glasgow

Location: Glasgow city centre
Scope: Daily site cabin cleaning, marketing suite and sample flats, floor-by-floor builders cleans, sparkle cleans to levels 1 to 14, final clean, scrubber-dryer floor cleaning
The project: a 16-storey, 321-studio student tower in the city centre.
What we did: daily site cabin cleaning for the life of the build. We prepared the marketing suite and three sample flats, then cleaned floor by floor, removing protection as we went. We sparkle cleaned every residential level from 1 to 14, plus the hoist rooms, stairwells and corridors, and were on site through handover week for the final clean.
​Result: handed over in July 2026, ahead of programme (GRAHAM's statement). We returned afterwards with a scrubber dryer for specialist floor cleaning.

Sparkle & handover
Hawkhead Mews, Paisley

Scope: Builders and sparkle cleans with internal window cleaning, final handover cleans, refresh cleans
Duration: Spring to end of 2025
The project: 37 three-bedroom family homes, handed over to buyers in phases while work continued across the site.
What we did: Cruden brought Saltire in partway through the build to take over the cleaning. As each release of houses was completed, we carried out builders cleans followed by sparkle cleans with internal window cleaning and final cleans before handover. We came back for refresh cleans and extra cleans whenever the site team asked.
​Result: we stayed with Cruden's site team to the last cleans. The development is now sold out.

Live site
St Kentigern's Academy, Blackburn, West Lothian

Location: Blackburn, West Lothian
Scope: Site cabin and welfare cleaning, deep cleans, emergency flood response, builders and sparkle cleans, scrubber-dryer floor cleaning
Duration: 2023 to 2026
The project: RAAC forced the demolition of more than 60% of the school. Heron Bros built a replacement wing while the school stayed open.
What we did: we cleaned the site cabins and welfare throughout, and deep cleaned school corridors, stairs and the atrium. When a flood hit the school area in August 2024, we responded at short notice, extracting the water and cleaning the carpets over several days. For the final two months we were on site every working day for builders and sparkle cleans, using a scrubber dryer on the new floors.
​Result: handed over to West Lothian Council on 10 April 2026, with pupils in four days later.

What we deliver on projects
Builders and phased cleans
Post-construction cleans of whole buildings, internal and external, including second builders cleans where trades remain on site after an area is handed over.
Sparkle and handover cleans
Final detailed cleans before handover or opening, presenting the finished building to the client's specification.
Site welfare cleaning
Scheduled cleaning of site offices, canteens, toilets and drying rooms, with client-supplied consumables replenished during visits.
